The Green Expo Reception Center adopts modular construction methods and actively responds to the national government’s call to promote green buildings.
There are 17 characteristic green buildings in the park, which use different energy-saving and environmentally friendly construction technologies to present a beautiful, comfortable, and environmentally friendly green living environment. It also indicates that green buildings will have broader living space and market prospects in the future.
The Expo Park has a total area of approximately 15.6 square kilometers and is the first and currently only green building industry cluster demonstration zone authorized by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development.
The Green Expo displays high-tech means such as sponge city system, ecological landscape system, low-carbon energy application and management system, including rainwater collection, reclaimed water, the most advanced building energy-saving systems such as reuse systems and intelligent controls.
The park uses various methods such as sponge city system, solar energy and building integration to create a near-zero carbon emission demonstration area, which has now become a "business card" of Jiangsu's green buildings.
Since it is about energy conservation and emission reduction, all demonstration projects in the Expo Park are of course prefabricated buildings, with an average assembly rate of 60% and a maximum assembly rate of 100% for a single building.
These buildings use domestic or foreign technologies, including active houses and passive houses, and all have obtained two-star green building design labels. It can be said that the park is a collection of green buildings..
